We love our girlfriends and love the chance to brag on them. Thankfully, a couple of our nearest & dearest have given us quite the opportunity…
“Goodnight Cowtown”, a 40-page hardcover book penned by Fort Worth’s own Robin Beal Bumstead and Jennifer Gaines Drez, brings the culture of Cowtown to a story time circle near you. Geared toward children but sure to be loved by all ages, the sweet story combined with the colorful illustrations by Lisa Carrington Voight, give a memorable look inside Fort Worth’s world-renowned museums, sports teams, historical landmarks and favorite spots.
If you have never been to Fort Worth this book gives you a glorious introduction and if you have deep roots in The Fort, this story will make you so proud to be a part of our community. We love how this book celebrates our very special town, and captures all this unique city has to offer.
Available beginning in February through goodnightcowtown.com, local museum gift shops and retail establishments, “Goodnight Cowtown” is a perfect read no matter if you’re from Fort Worth, attended TCU, or are simply a visitor looking for a memento from a memorable trip. It would make a great baby gift or going away present, too!

I love everything about Ft Worth! My mom was born and raised there and just last year I drove by her old house on Martha Lane. I have danced in the halls of cowtown tromped thru the stock yards, shopped on Camp Bowie, had the perfect patio mexican dinner with my oldest daughter in down town- my first Neiman Marcus intro, TCU, Westover Hills Country Club, dreamed of living in Rivercrest….I love Ft Worth!!
So glad the Go To Girls are doing your part to support our hometown girls!! I have seen the book first hand and being a born and bred Fort Worth girl, I have to say I LOVED it! I plan to buy 20 copies immediately to give as gifts. The wonderful authors will be at Miss Molly’s Toy and Candy Shop on Feb. 25th from 10-2 for a book signIng and reading. I hope everyone will come support our local talent!!
I love the great architecture from the Deco buildings to the contemporary designs of our wonderful art museums.

Fort Worth is where my roots are buried and I am happy to bloom where I am planted! I treasure being able to share this city with my 2 year old-and watch him discover all of the wonderful adverntures I did as a child.
I can’t wait to check out Ft. Worth’s first food park started by my friends, Lacey & Chris Kruger!
The think I love most about Fort Worth is that it is a big city with a small town feel.
I love Joe T. Garcia’s in Fort Worth! Can’t wait to see this book.
I love that the question is not, “where did you buy your new house?” But, the burning question is “Who’s house did you buy?”
can’t think of a better book for all ages to enjoy!
